LACEWING BOOKS
ABOUT THE PRESS
Lacewing Books is a young adult imprint of Engine Books.

Titles published by Lacewing Books fall squarely into the category of “literary,” which the press defines generally as “everyday life made worthy of art.” Some readers call what we publish “realistic YA,” as well. Many readers who like Lacewing titles also enjoy the work of Rainbow Rowell, Sara Zarr, Matthew Quick, A.S. King, Jay Asher, and similar writers. That said, we may be open to character-driven manuscripts for young adult readers that operate in other genres.

Lacewing publishes two titles each year. Booksellers looking for ordering information can find it here.
